Text Box Indents

I am working with text boxes that have three sets of infomation: A title,
Purpose and Functions. I am using the auto numbering for the functions.
This has resulted in the title line also having an indent. Is there any way
of not having an indent on line one and using the Centre justification
correctly

Click View > Master > Slide Master.
Click on the text placeholder,
then select "Click to edit Master text styles" so that it is highlighted.
Press the home key or left arrow key on the keyboard, then press backspace
to remove the indent.
Highlight the first line again and click Format > Alignment > Justify.
Close Master View.

This does not seem to work - Once I press the centre justification for the
first line - it applies to all the lines below. Changing levels, does not
help either as the first line for the second level cannot be aligned to left.

Apply the method only after you have done the work.
Also, if the following lines are not bulleted, they will apply the setting
from the first one. See if others have a workaround for this one.

Still not working - thanks anyway - been thru the other threads - many with
same problems - no real solution.

For the lines you don't want indented, put the cursor right before the
indented text and hit the return key.

Place the title in a separate text box. Alternatively, demote the
Purpose and Functions so that they are at a different text level than
the title; then you'll be able to set the indents separately.
