Terminal Service Cal Problem

Hello, I'm not sure if anyone can help with the current problem that I am
faced with, but I thought that I would give it a shot anyway. I recently
built a new server for a local business because the server they had in place
died. The hard drives they had in the machine were labeled as unrecoverable
according to CBL Technologies. The backups they had on the machine were very
limited, but I managed to get everything reinstalled on the new server except
for the ts cals that they purchased with the machine over five years ago. The
company that built their original server failed to supply the cal
certificates at the time of the purchase. Shortly after installing the
original server the company went out of business so there is no way to
contact them to recover the original documentation. The only information
regarding the original cals that I have in my possession is the terminal
license database "tlslic.edb", a terminal license registry key from a machine
that once connected to the original server, and the original machines license
ID and site ID. I don't know if it is possible to retrieve any relevant
information from the information at my disposal but hopefully there is a way.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thank You

Hello,

If you are asking for actual documentation then it is not feasible. If you
are looking for getting your cals back you can do that if you have the old
license server ID. you need to call the Microsoft clearing house as they keep
all the information about the CAL's.

That will be last option you can try for.
