Temporary Internet Files

My temporary internet file folder does not empty when I
exit the Browser, even though I have the Advanced tab for
that function checked.
I understand Cookies remain, but in my case everthing is
there. I can empty it manually, but prefer to have the
brower do it automatically when I exit.
Any help?
