TEMPLATES PLEASE HELP!!!!

I need to create a Word template, that has an excel
document/template/whatever works best, within the Word template, so people
can use and manipulate to create charts from. The chart will usually be the
bit that's displayed in the word document.

It needs to be able to work perfectly when the document is emailed from one
person to another, the other person must be able to use the same tools to
continue with the document.

I've got so far with it, but when someone else tries to create another
document using the template that I've copied to them, it goes belly-up.

Can you tell us what is going wrong apart from "it goes belly-up"?

What version of Word and Excel are you using? And what functionality do you
need in a Word document that makes it a better choice than having the users
use and manipulate the charts in Excel itself.
