I am using WinXP Professional (SP2) and Internet Explorer 6.

I have trouble with specifying the amount of disk space to use for storing
temporary internet files in IE6. I want to set it to 128 MB. But, each time I
restart IE6, the amount goes up to 251 MB!

How can I stop this?

Hi Dil,
Do you have AV with Internet Protection, try to turn OFF that and Do your
Resetiings in IE Properties, clear your caches and delete Internet files and
cookies and Then reboot and check your IE settings, if all ok try to Enable
your AV internet Protection before going on the Internet Live to be protected.
Hope this helps
