you people send us to the above site and we
press the number 9 item. this takes us to a
symantec.com support page. picking the plus
signs and there is nothing about computer
slowing down after the jan 7/8 norton updates.

this happens a lot you people just submit a site
and expect the user to know what to do. sometimes
the site is so complicated any new user will not
know what to do.
----these are just the titles on above site page----
----nothing about slow computer----------------

Anne;
That is my website.
Symantec recently changed that page.
At the time I created the page, that was a valid link.
For reasons known only to Symantec, the page was changed and data
moved to another location.
If Symantec had simply deleted the page, my tools would have quickly
identified a broken link, however it is still a valid link, just not
the desired information.

I have over 1000 links on my site and mine is a small site.
It can be difficult to catch changes like this so it is usually
helpful if users report them so they can be resolved.
I have since changed the page reflecting the correct link.

The people that I know that have websites make every effort to make
them clear and easy to navigate and use.
They appreciate being notified when something appears incorrect or
even if it is unclear or more difficult than necessary.
Most sites have a page and/or links to contact the owner that can be
used just for such a purpose.
In the future, try contacting the owner directly as the owner may or
may not see your post on a newsgroup.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
