TCP/IP

H

Hi

A previous Tech? removed the Novell Client
how I don't know

On Bootup we get
1. MSDTCexe has generated errors and will be closed by windows

2. Now when trying to add the TCP/IP protocol to the Dialup
It goes Ok then when finished there is no Protocol loaded.

3. when trying to add it to the Network (DSL) connection
could not load the requested component
the error is : A non-recoverable error occured during
database lookup

HELP?

If you cannot install TCP/IP, you may have a corrupted Winsock. There are 2
registry entries that you can remove and then reinstall TCP/IP. I would
uninstall TCP/IP before doing this and reboot.
