Hi

You have to log one time to the control panel network connection.

From Start/Run type: control ncpl.cpl and click Ok.

Right click on you active Connection Icon choose properties and check the
two boxes at

the bottom, http://www.ezlan.net/example/tcp.jpg

After doing so, the Connection Icon would be placed in the Tray Bar and
would allow immediate clicking access to various aspects of the Network
settings.

Example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#tcp_details

Thanks Jacks for your reply.

But i was more interested of knowing the name of some rundll or rundll32.
Like for Windows NT we use to run network adapter protocol tab
RUNDLL32 SHELL32.DLL,Control_RunDLL NCPA.CPL,@0,2

What is corresponding compatible command for Windows Xp? This command only
open networking connection folder in control panel. I want to open TCP/IP
Properties dialog box of network connection directly.

Thanks in advance

Sorry I didnot get your reply. Well I tried few ways like

rundll32 shell32.dll control applet.cpl@1,2 ( this gives errorbox related to
shell32.exe)
or
control applet.cpl@1,2 ( this doesnot work not even error message)

Could you please guide.

Thanks again for your prompt reply.
