TCP/IP Network Transport is not installed

Hi,

I just uninstalled my Macfee virus 7.0 scan and installed the newer
enterprise version 7.1. Since then i am getting this message "TCP/IP Network
Transport is not installed" everytime i start my computer. As a result, i
do not have an internet access as well as access to other computers on the
network. I tried to use the repair option in the network connection
propertires, but it assign the invalid ip address. Also, i tried to manually
assign the ip address, but it did not work either. I saw anohther post with
similar problem, but no solution was given. I would appreciate if anyone can
help me with this issue.
