Taskmanager

I am using Win2000 professional (German).
Since yesterday my taskmanager does not display the cards
for applications, processes and system load. It comes in a
reduced window just with the applications, no possibility
to switch to the processes page. Plus in the task bar, it
shows with an empty tag without the name "Taskmanger". The
only way to stop it is via alt-F4.

It does not help to replace the taskmgr.exe

How can I restore the normal functionning conditions?
