Taskmanager / Sasaser Virus

I have a problem with taskmanager in that it won't appear
on screen when I do a ctrl alt del following an infection
by the Sasser virus. I have followed the microsoft
proceduere for recovering from Sasser but when trying to
disable unwanted processes the Taskmanager will only
appear for a second.

Any thoughts?

Thanks. This has worked ok. I can now open taskmanager to
review processes.
