Anyone got any suggestions why my taskbar decided to move
itself along the right side of my monitor screen and why
I cannot restore it to the bottom of my screen even
though it is not locked? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Left click with the mouse, just next to the Start button, hold and drag to
the bottom of the screen. You won't see it move until it "jumps" into place.

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the
screen, it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move
it from any side to another, simply click on an unused part of it
and drag it where you want it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on
it and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.
