The typical BLUE Colored taskbar in XP alongwith GREEN
colored START button has suddenly disappeared and the old
win 98 style taskbar has appeared . Does anyone know how
to revert back to typical XP taskbar ?

Right click on the existing task bar, dark blue area, and
a Dialog Winodw opens. Select Properties. Another
Dialog window opens allowing you to customize the Task
bar. There is settings for old and new style. See if
thats the problem.
