Taskbar shows buttons twice!

Not sure how I got this and I can't figure out how to get my taskbar back to
normal.

Notice I have two buttons for each application that is open. Also, there is
space just to the left of the Language bar icon that... contains nothing.

Any help appreciated.

Did you run the above edit? If that doesn't work do a repair install
and if that doesn't work then a clean install.
