Taskbar problem

Up until an hour ago, the Quick Launch area on my taskbar was sized so that
it showed 6-8 icons with another 6-8 hidden. Suddenly, the Quick Launch area
expanded to show all of the icons, and the toolbar sizing handle was gone.
Can you help me restore the taskbar to how I had it before? I've searched
the Windows XP site for information but cannot find anything that addresses
this problem. Thanks.

Right-click the Taskbar, click to Unlock the taskbar, resize, lock it back.
