All you need to do is to rt. click and hold on the task bar and move it back
to the bottom of the screen.

Click on a blank area of the Taskbar, drag it to the bottom, and
release. Right-click the Taskbar, click "Lock the Taskbar" to prevent
it being moved again.

On a blank area of the taskbar Press/Hold Down the Left mouse button.
Drag the taskbar back down to the bottom of the screen and release the mouse
button.
You should see the taskbar snap to the bottom of the screen when your pointer
gets near to it.

If the taskbar doesn't move when dragged, Left click on a blank area of the
taskbar.
If selected/checked, click on "Lock the Taskbar to deselect/uncheck it.
Follow the steps above to move the taskbar back to the bottom of the screen.

Someone "clicked & dragged" it there. If you don't want it there,
simply click & drag back to the desired position.

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the screen,
it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move it from any
side to another, simply click on an unused part of it and drag it
where you want it. Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge;
clicking on the edge and dragging will resize it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it
and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.

What happened? Almost certainly, you accidentally moved it yourself
without realizing it.
