taskbar location

A couple of days ago one of my kids reset my taskbar so that is aligned
vertically on the right side of the screen. I want it back to be displayed
along the bottom of the screen- horizontally. For the life of me I can't
figure out where or how to change it back. Can anyone help?
Thank you, frustrated father

In an empty area of the taskbar right-click and uncheck the 'Lock the
Taskbar' option. The Taskbar should simply just click and drag to where you
want it.
When its back in place re-check the 'Lock the Taskbar' option.

Hope this helps,

Simon.

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the screen, it can
be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move it from any side to
another, simply click on an unused part of it and drag it where you want it.
Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge; clicking on the edge and
dragging will resize it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it and
uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.
