Taskbar icon

1. Open up "My Network Places" from your desktop or start
menu.
2. Click on "View network connections"
3. Find your Internet Connection, Right click on it, Go
to properties
4. Near the bottom will be a check box for task bar icon
5. If it is already checked then this is beyond my
abilities.

Thanks for you quick reply
I;m not able to loacte thie My Network Places

so more help is needed.

I run Win 98 if that helps

In Win98: My Computer>Dial-up Networking>Connections (topmost
toolbar)>Settings>Show an icon... (check)
