Taskbar icon size?

Upgraded to newer 17" monitor and was playing with settings.
I've put settings back(I think) but now this is happened.

The desktop icons appear "normal" size but the icons on the taskbar are VERY
small.
Checked my setting with my other system(icons OK) and everything appears to
be the same.
I can change the size of the taskbar icons but then all icons, desktop, are
way too large.

As a follow up.
When I; right click on Properties, Start menu, Start menu is selected vs
Classic start menu, and I click on Customize, select either large or small
icon, nothing happens....Not sure if this helps or not.
