taskbar height doubled - can't change back to normal height

I somehow made my taskbar so that it is 'two rows
wide'... and can't seem to figure out how to get it to
change back to just a single row height. I was trying
to customize it and dragging the dotted dividers to
arrange the icons and it suddenly popped into two rows
high... and nothing I do seems to get it back to normal.
There are not a bunch of icons so there is no need for it
to be double high.... help....

Make sure it's unlocked and just grab the top of it (left click and HOLD
where the up/down arrow appears) and drag the miserable thing back down! For
entertainment you can drag it off to the right too if you want.

You probably dragged the divider right of the quick launch area so far
over that it jumped down. Look for it under the right end of Start, and
drag it up/right to beyond the quicklaunch icons, and it should jump
back, Then adjust left to show only such QL icons as you want (min 3;
you can adjust them by dragging to have your real favorites on the left)
