TASKBAR HAS VANISHED

I run XP home edition i recently installed a hercules
4000xt graphics card after installing my taskbar has
vanished i have tried many many differnt ways to bring my
beloved taskbar back with no luck even a restore didnt
return my bar does any1 have any ideas ???? im at a loss
here

Hi,

Have the desktop icons vanished too ? If so then, press the Windows logo key + R and in the Run
dialog box, type explorer.exe and press enter.

You may have to try another version of drivers other than what came with the
card. Display drivers are the main cause of the Taskbar, etc not being
visible. In the meantime, see if setting the Taskbar back to default helps:

Sometimes, it is just hiding.. go to the base of the screen, right click
with the mouse and drag it back up..
