hidden programs bar behind windows taskbar

I have lost my programs bar from the windows taskbar. When I open a program &
minimize. There is nothing in the taskbar . It seems to be behind it. I have
tried moving the taskbar, Can someone Please Help? I am using windows xp home
edition
