First, unlock the Taskbar (right-click on taskbar, uncheck
"Lock the Taskbar")
Click and drag the separator bar over to the right of the taskbar
(It's the separator that looks like four dots and then three dots
running side by side vertically). It seems to allow you do a double-
decker effect with the task bar. Once you drag the lower one to
the right of the taskbar, it allows you to resize the taskbar.

|I unlocked the TASKBAR in hopes of making a minor adjustment. When I did, it reconfigured the bottom part of
the screen into a two line taskbar, which uses up a lot of screen space for no apparent reason! I have tried
menus, dialogs, buttons and help files, but nothing seems to address how to adjust this. I want a one line
informaiton area from the START button to the TASKBAR/INFORMATION (date, etc.) area. Thanks for you
consideration!
