taskbar at the bottom

hi
just a couple of minutes ago i have accidently custumized the toolbar the
one where it streches along the whole of the bottom of the screen. now i
cannot see what programs are running because they do not display on the
toolbar so is there any way of restting the toolbar

Browse to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and apply the fix
number 164 (left-hand side): "Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality".

grab the little seperator bar on the right hand end and drag it back left.

Bring the mouse down to the bottom of the screen. When the pointer
changes to a vertical resize pointer, click and drag the taskbar upwards
till it's the height you prefer.

Once there, right-click the taskbar, click Properties, click "Lock the
taskbar".
