Task Scheduler will not start

Hi,

When trying to start the task scheduler service I
get a error saying, "Could not start the task scheduler
service on local computer, Error 1717:Interface
Unknown". What does this mean and how do I fix it.

Check Event Viewer for more details. You might try deleting any existing
scheduled tasks. There may be corruption associated with one or more tasks.
