Task Scheduler not running

Can anyone please help me to get my Task Scheduler
running. I got an Error Ox80041315 with the message Task
Scheduler not runnng.My OS is XP and don't use a password
for this task.Thanks

Run msconfig and see if the service is not disabled. See
if you can't start it up manually as well.

Also go to controll Panel\Scheduled Tasks

Click on Advanced in the Window and make sure it is
running and not stopped or paused.
