Hi. Do I need to have three SVCHOST.EXE running in Task Manager
processes? If not, how would I disable two of them.
And what is the current opinion on Check Disk.
In the old days we were told that it was a strain on the hard drive
and not to do it too often because it could lower the life expectancy of
the hard drive. Is that still true, or was it ever? Thanks. Dingo

Multiple entries of "svchost.exe" is normal. If you try and disable
some of them, you'll cripple the performance of your computer.

A. Never true...just a myth.
