Task Manager

Why are items in T Mgr sometimes in small letters and sometimes in capital
letters? Does this indicate anything. Also my task manager will often not
appear on the screen but will only show that it is opened down below in lower
task bar. Cannot get it to open onto the screen so I can do something with
it. Anyone have any ideas

Windows doesn't care if uppercase or lowercase.

Task Manager might have gotten into tiny footprint mode. When this happens
it can get dragged to a little, small, wee box. Roughly 1/2" x 1 1/2". It
can even be dragged almost off screen.

This might work...

Try right clicking the Task Manager icon in the Notification Area (by your
clock), select Always on Top. Look around on your Desktop for a blue (if XP
theme) or gray box (if Classic theme) about 1/2" x 1 1/2". Double click
anywhere on the box if found.
