Task Manager

Yeah, I've got the same problem as everybody else.

I push ctrl+alt+del and I get no task manager. I attempt to run it in "Run"
and get the message that it is in use by another program. The thing is, I
don't have any viruses, so I don't know what is causing the problem. Hope you
can help me.

Maybe something wrong in background does this. click start - run - type
msconfig press enter - click startup tab uncheck unneeded programs. then
restart see if that works.

I MIGHT have figured out the problem.. I updated my antivirus program (Trend
Micro's PC-cillin Antivirus) and it seems there is a virus on my svchost.exe.
my antivirus program is unable to clean the file.. what can I do from here?
