Task Manager

I have tried to open the task manager by clicking
Atl+Ctrk+Del and nothing happens, i have tried with the
right botton of the mouse and i click task manager and
nothing happens.... What's wrong with my Task manager????
 
I am having the same problem and right clicking the task bar and selectiing the task manager does not work either. Using either method I get an icon on the task bar but when i move the arrow over it it disappears.
