Task Manager

When trying to run my Task Manager, it appears for about a second, then
disappears. In the system tray, a green icon appears and if I try to move
my cursor over it this disappears also.

Can anyone help?

system you're running.

The only time that ever happened to me, my system had been hacked into.
If you can, try to view the running processes by connecting from another PC.
