Task Manager won't end processes

Task Manager will not allow me to end any system processes..I receive an error message saying "unable to terminate process. The proccess could not be completed. Acess denied"

This only happenes for system processes, not local ones. ANyone have any help?

This is most likely caused because the processes you are
trying to terminate are critical to your computer's on
going "life" and killing these proccesses will either
cause potential harm to your computer, or entirely crash
your system. Its there to make sure you don't end
processes you aren't supposed to. {also make sure your an
administrator on your computer.)

Mitch..Thanks for the help but we are talking about processes that I previously had been able to end thru Task Manager. And I am the administrator. I am wondering if something changed that makes Task Managerthink I am not the administrator
