Task Manager Will Not Display on Screen

Windows 2000 PC - Task Manager Will Not Display on screen, however a small
gray box appears
appears on the horizonatab acroos the bottom of the screen. Right clicking
on the small box and
trying to open it doesn't work either.

Any suggestions?

Most latest viruses, disable the use of Task Manager. Scan your system with
some good antivirus.
