Task Manager Problem

Help! When I hit ctrl+alt+delete the task manager no longer comes up. I
went to the run box and typed in taskmgr and it said it was already running.
So, I rebooted and the same thing came up (saying it was already running).

Any suggestions? I've scanned my computer for virus and spyware and haven't
found anything.

Try Ctrl/Shift-Esc. When that doesn't work, you might see if the
following applies. This would take Task Manager opening minimized, and
the hidden minimized tasks problem though:
