Suddenly the Task Manager (ctl-alt-del) has lost its menu and tabs. All I see is the
active tasks window, with no option to switch to the Processes or memory usage windows.
This happened after I loaded IE7 but I don't think that is the problem. (I did go through
a series of fairly drastic steps with MS telephone support to get IE7 working properly,
including turning off all attachments and stripping all temp files, etc. IE7 now works
fine.) This is a single-user computer and I am supposed to be Administrator.

If sounds as if you have Task Manager running in "Tiny
footprint mode".Double click the border to restore it to its
original appearance.

Why is part of my Task Manager gone?
