Task manager has missing tabs

.. When I open task manager, I can see the processes only. The applications
tab is missing... There is no way to close the dialog box except to hit the
esc key.

Suggestions on how to restore this to normal operation?

(BTW, my email provider is down hard, so I'm not getting email right now
web.com, so i will check back.)

Open task manager and double click on the border to restore the tabs.

Double click on the frame of the window.
