This is a really strange problem that im having. My Task
Manager has decided to not work... at all (except on rare
occasions). Whenever i press CTRL-ALT-DEL or CTRL-SHIFT-
ESC, the window appears... then disappears about 1½
seconds later. Thus, i cannot close non-responsive
programs, get rid of unwanted tasks, check my network
utilization etc. Ive had this problem for about a month
now, and its getting irritating. Anyone have any idea
what could cause this?

A worm. http://google.com --- search for "blaster".
Or search this group for "rpc" or "remote".
