Task List is Empty

Using Outlook 2007, I can see tasks when I go to the Tasks folder
(i.e. click on the clipboard with the checkmark in the bottom left
navigation pane). However, I do not see any of those same tasks in the
task list in the to-do bar. How can I get the tasks to show up there
as well?

Perhaps you're examining a non-default Tasks folder.

How can I change that? I haven't changed any of the defaults (it's
been like this since installation).

The default Tasks folder is the Tasks folder in your delivery location folder
set. If you've created any other tasks folder, that folder would not be the
default Tasks folder. Have you created any other tasks folders? Those won't
show in the To Do bar.

I haven't changed a thing. Even if I add a task from the To Do bar, it
disappears from there. It will appear in the Tasks folder though.

Have you reset your To-Do Bar's view? Which To-Do Bar view are you using?
Normal? On the View menu of Outlook, select To-Do Bar and click Options. Is
"Show Task List" checked?
