task bar

when i have a window open it fills my screen so I cannot see the task bar on
the bottom i have to keep reducing the window to see...any tips?

HELP....somehow my task bar has popped up vertically on the right side of my
screen and I cannot find a way to put it back horizontally on the bottom
again.....

THANK YOU....IT'S BACK WHERE IT BELONGS...

Make sure your Task bar is unlocked (right click on a blank are of it and
make sure the option is not ticked). The just click and drag the bar to
where you want it. You might like to re-lock it so this doesn't happen
again!

screen and I cannot find a way to put it back horizontally on the bottom
again.....

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the screen,
it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move it from any
side to another, simply click on an unused part of it and drag it
where you want it. Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge;
clicking on the edge and dragging will resize it, not move it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it
and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.
