WHEN STARTING MY COMPUTER MY TASKBAR OPENS DOUBLE THE
SIZE AND MY STARTUP ICONS ARE SHOWING 3 HIGH, I TRIED TO
SHRINK THE TASKBAR BACK DOWN TO A SINGLE LINE,BUT IT DOES
NOT SEEM TO WANT TO DO IT. CAN YOU HELP ME FIX THIS.

Please unlock your shift key and stop SHOUTING at us!

Right-click an empty spot on your taskbar, and choose "Properties".
Remove the check from the "Lock the taskbar" box. You should now be
able to grab an edge of the taskbar with the mouse and drag it to the
size you want. Then you can lock the bar back up to keep it from
changing.

Did you Unlock the Taskbar before trying ?

Right Click an empty space on the Taskbar and Unlock -
you should be able to 'push' it down now - then Re-Lock
