Task Bar question

I like to have the "show desktop" icon as a quick launch
toolbar on the task bar, however, everytime I turn on the
pc, its gone. How can I make it perminant?

right click your tool bar,go up to toolbar tick desktop.

Thanks but thats not really what I wanted. I want the
quick launch icons which i know how to get but its having
them remain after a restart that is my problem.
any more ideas?
