task bar icons

Some icons, such as "Windows updates" do not appear in the
task bar (system tray). I have tried the Notification
window, set the icons to appear, but to no effect. Any
suggestions? I have previously posted this message but I'm
not sure the post went through. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Hi there,

Do you modify anything from the group policy? If not, go
to run and enter msconfig, and enable the windows update
thing.
