Task Bar Help

Hello!

I'm having a problem with my task bar. You know how when you righ
click the task bar; go to tool bars; and you can select what tool bar
you want to show up on your task bar or not?

Well, I usually keep a language bar and a windows media player tool ba
on my task manager, because I use those often, however suddenly
problem has arisen that is very annoying.

When I have a tool bar selected to be on my task bar, it stay on th
left side and I can't move it; there for I can't see any of the window
I have open and have to alt+tab to navigate between them.

"Why not just have no tool bars?"
Well, if I have -no- tool bars, the task bar minimizes to the bottem o
the screen so I can't access it at all; I tried re-sizing it an
everything, but it won't resize, and when I have a tool bar it won'
let me move it to the right so I can see the windows I hav
open/minimized.

Can anyone help me? This is very frustraiting, especially since much o
my communication is through chat programs; and I can't see if some on
is messaging me or not

Hi Amanda,... right click on the Start button > click on Properties >
Taskbar > and uncheck "Block Taskbar", uncheck "Hide taskbar automatically",
and check on "Keep taskbar always visible".. if that doesn't solve it,
download "Taskbar Repair Tool Plus" from the Kellys-Korner website... it can
fix any problem with the taskbar.. be careful when you use this tool, not to
apply the "Restore to Default" option in "Taskbar Problems" because it will
delete your settings (tool bars and icons) from the taskbar.
