Task Bar

I cannot reduce my Task Bar below two lines. I have unlocked the Task bar. I
can expand it and move it, but I can't make it smaller than two lines.

Look for the little divider line - it looks like a perforation. Drag that
around and you should find that you can reduce the taskbar height.

I do not recall the exact steps since it happens so rarely to me that when
it does, I have to experiment a bit: It involves grabbing the divider line
between the first QL icon and the start button and dragging it towards the
system tray. I just play around with it until it goes back to one line. If
you cannot get it straightened out, you could do a system restore.

Note that if you have toolbars on the task bar on multiple lines, you
won't be able to reduce the task bar size to fewer than that number of
lines. Put all the toolbars on one line first.

If the quick launch toolbar is on the 2nd line, uncheck it in your toolbars
list, and see if the standard toolbar goes back to one line. If it does,
re-check the QL toolbar to add it back (if you want it).

Move your mouse pointer over the inside edge of the taskbar so that it
changes to a double-headed arrow. Then drag it in either direction to change
the width of the taskbar.
