Quick Launch Bar Reversed

My spouse just did something to her puter, and now the Quick Launch bar is
on the right and the open applications are on the left (on the Task Bar).
They are supposed to be Quick Launch Bar on the LEFT - open applications on
the RIGHT. I am above average with Win XP - but can't get this back to
normal. Yes, the Task Bar is unlocked. Thanks!!!

Unlock the Taskbar, click the vertical divider to the left of the QL
bar, and drag it to the left. Jiggle up and down till it's to the left,
resize to your liking, lock the Taskbar.

OK.

No, they are not. There is no "supposed to here." The Quick Launch Bar can
be wherever you want it. You can even drag it off the Task Bar entirely and
dock it another side of the screen (a good choice for many people is the Tak
Bar at the bottom and the QL Bar on the left.

Drag it by its handle (the divider on its left).
