target blank: address bar messed up

When I click a link that has target=_blank, the new
windows opens but the address bar does not reflect the
address. Instead it shows a messed up image of whatever
window had been displayed behind it (like a screen
capture of the previous window).

Anyone ever have this? Know how to fix it?
