Regarding the article above, if you follow the
instructions for the 'Managed Method', is it possible to
setup a particular backup to span tapes. My full backup
requires two tapes, but the article didn't address how to
setup a job for tape spanning.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I believe it will work as long as the tape that you mount is in the free media
pool.
