taking a DC offline

One of my remote sites is have some extensive building work done. The remote
site has its own DC which is part of my active directory.

I need to take this domain controller offline. What is the maximum period of
time a DC can be offline before objects start to tombstone or my AD becomes
flaky ?

Tombstone period is, by default, 60 days.

Which means you need to get your machine back online on the 58th day (for
troubleshooting purposes ;-)
