Take ownership

My system running 2000Pro will not re-boot due to a lack of virtual memory. I can get into safe mode but it won't allow my profile to load so I can clear the Pager File. I had an admin account but it doesn't seem to work. How can I get Windows to load in safe mode so I can fix the Pager File?
