table/pic question

hi, i want to make a table that stretches the whole width
of the screen so my picture in it does too. everytime i
set my table for 100% width i publish it and i still get
background on the right hand side. i have set all of my
borders to 0 pixels. anyone know what to do?
 
Images are a fixed width item. They don't "stretch" with a table.
